Behind-the-scene: Collection 95

Time for another behind-the-scenes post for our upcoming self-manufactured bag =) This time round, we decided to ride on the color-block trend and introduce a really lady-like bag design to our customers at Yventually!

My inspiration?
The colorful satchels at Diane von Furstenberg Spring/Summer 2013 runway shows!! I particularly adore the 440 satchels (see below, middle and right) for its classy and sophisticated design =)

As seen on celebrities like Beyonce...

and Nicky Hilton

We were really blessed to have Bliss House restaurant (The Central mall, #03-21A) provide us with such a GORGEOUS location for our photoshoot. Both E and i were blown away by the garden-themed interior design the moment we stepped foot into the compound, not forgetting how friendly their manager was =) If you are looking for a location for your solemnisation/birthday celebration, do consider this place!!

Anyway, this bag is named after jie to celebrate the birth of her first child yesterday! I actually have a manufactured bag known as "Kayla" which happens to be the name of her precious daughter so i thought it is only right that i name this satchel after her mommy, Helen, instead. hehe.

First up, Helen bag with Peach flap. My personal favorite of this entire collection for sure =) I love love loveeeee how feminine this color combination turned out! One of the nicest compliments i received while carrying this bag came from Ace who went "your bag is not Yventually's right? it's so pretty! Must be from Topshop or Zara
Thanks Ace for putting Yventually on the same level as them!! Lol =P

Another color combination i kept for my personal use would be this bag with Mustard flap. Something about matching bright mustard flap with cream and black bag body gives this design a youthful look ;) This was one of the first few color combinations that i decided on immediately after i saw my sample piece and never regretted since!
E is seen rocking this bag in 2 very different outfits - casual and semi-formal because i wanted to showcase the versatility of this bag combination despite its loud color choices ;)

Last but not least, light brown flap for the ladies who prefer a "tone down" look =) This color combination was inspired by the DVF 440 satchel seen on Beyonce!

If you are not that adventurous when it comes to bag colors but love the design of this satchel nonetheless, this full Nude color might be the right choice for you! The combination of the warm shade and black lining makes this bag a perfect working bag as it will blend in easily with your formal outfits. For a more casual look on dress-down Fridays, carry the Helen bag as a slingbag instead!

The shape of the bag is slightly interchangeable with the button strap inside =)

A look at all available choices

I kept both Peach and Mustard so here's a collage of how i have been matching my outfits as seen on my instagram!

Other gorgeous specially imported bags included in this collection includes this quilted black bowler bag that comes with the cutest tassel charm =)

And...the most adorable Celine-inspired mini crossbody bag!! I don't usually bring in small bags to Yventually but this is so cute i grabbed as many pieces i could at my supplier the moment i laid eyes on them =D

To see how our model E paired her Helen bag with Peach flap with her daily OOTDs, check out her instagram @elaineypoop for her off-duty looks ;)

Next launch: Thurs, 21st Mar, 2pm

See you all at the launch ok?

Until next time~
