Arabian Night

Arabian food with some of my favorite people at Cafe Le Caire, 39 Arab street!

We requested for a table on the second level and was brought to this dimly-lit room with carpets, short tables and cushions. VERY ARABIAN HOR? haha.
P.S. We found out later that they also had an actual dining area with normal tables/chairs as well and this room is actually meant for people who wanted to chill and shisha but since we liked the unique ambience here, we stayed put.

Hummus with arabic bread
A must-order whenever we are at a Middle Eastern restaurant and a great way to start off our dinner. Hummus is really just mashed chickpeas with olive oil and tahini in case you are wondering ;)

Chicken Wrap for SH
For someone who usually don't enjoy Middle Eastern cuisine (we feel like we are torturing her every time we go out. hahaha), she actually loved this dish she ordered!

Tawouke Wrap
This is also a variation of a chicken wrap but tawouke stands for kebab meat if i am not wrong, hence the chunky chicken cubes instead of the mashed ones as seen in SH's chicken wrap. Another food item my friend really enjoyed!

Bukhari Chicken
N had her fair share of authentic Middle Eastern food abroad so she was pleasantly surprised that this Burkhari chicken was really close to what she had previously (in a good way) I took a small bite off her plate and loved the tender chicken marinated with Bukhari spices. Flavorful and delectable!

Shish Tawouke
Chicken kebab and rice for me =D My chunky chicken cubes were a little tough due to the way they were being grilled but they were so well-marinated and tasted so good!

We had desserts at one of the Parisian themed cafes along Arab street but they were really blah so i shall not blog about them.

Presenting to you people who helped me survive my torturous Uni days:

Until next time~
