Pre-commencement

With commencement day drawing near, I'm getting excited for 11July!! Went to collect my grad gown with N and Sam after work that day, after a 45mins wait at Science Starbucks for their one-for-one Hojicha frappe (omg, so good everyone should try!!)

Waiting for our names to be called for gown collection. Made me feel like i was a patient at a clinic -__-

Catching up @ Mandarin Gallery

Dropped by Tonkatsu by Ma Maison (Mandarin Gallery) a few days back with Jun for our quarterly gathering =) Heard/read soooo much about this restaurant that we had to give it a try!

It is situated at Mandarin Gallery and after the disappointment at Ippudo (i can never understand the long Q) and Wild Honey (so pricey, so overrated. no, WAY overrated), I was hoping Tonkatsu by Ma Maison wouldn't disappoint. And it sure didn't ;)

A glance at the menu and you will realise it's filled with...deep fried pork dishes! hahaa. 

Appetizer for the evening - Radish bits, best eaten with the soya seasoning. 

I ordered the Prawns & Rosu Katsu set that comes with refillable cabbage shreds and rice. Wanted a good mixture of pork fillet and pork loin, which is why i picked this assorted set =)

A close up of my deep fried pork loin. SOOOOOO tasty! =D Comes with tartare/mayo sauce which is just perfect with the crispy yet juicy meat pieces *YUMMMM.

The cabbage shreds came without the salad dressing and i was like "how come people said the cabbage was tasty? It hardly had any taste?!" then Jun told me i had to pour the Sesame Dressing sauce which was provided at each table -___-" How noob can i be? 

After mixing it with the sauce, the cabbage shreds became so addictive!! haha.

It's exactly the same as mine, just that hers did not come with the pork loin, just the pork fillet =)

Walked over to Arteastiq cafe right after dinner for some soothing hot tea =)

This is not the first time I'm here as i've blogged before but Im still in love with their ambience and of course, their floral tea!

This is the perfect place for girly gatherings because you can act all "tai-tai" with their fancy furnitures and exquisite tea sets. HEHEHE.
