Since i don't have any good restaurants/cafes to blog about these days, i shall start blogging about my commencement!! =))
After what feels like a million years, it's finally my turn to receive my degree scroll! I was not active as a student because of Yventually and honestly, my best school years were spent in Temasek Poly but I'm just happy to complete my degree and move on with life. haha.
Was honored to be chosen for a pre-ceremony interview by the course coordinator a month before commencement and was contemplating if i should accept the invite (im actually convinced i will become a laughing stock) so i dragged 2 of my closest friends along. hehehe.
Arrived soooo much earlier for a short rehearsal..
*jitters*
If Sam looks "frozen" here, it's because we were told the "live" interview was indeed LIVE i.e. there is no NGs, no double takes and everything you said will be heard by everyone in UCC -__-" We were scared to death because i really thought it was going to be recorded beforehand.
To all friends asking me for the video, you can view it here: http://www.nus.edu.sg/commencement/2012/webcast.php
C16, Wednesday
The 3 of us appeared on the 7th min
I didn't watch the video so don't ask me how i did. Hearing my voice play on my dad's comp when my parents were watching it at home made me cringe badly enough so you have been warned. lol.
Quick photo-taking before we were whisked off to the main hall
The friend who kept me company when i had to do some overnight lab work. You won't understand how scary it is to be stuck in the empty lab at 12am and all you can hear is the engines of the machines so im extremely grateful he was there completing his experiments too.
Walked in and saw the remaining interviews being played.
Sitting next to my ex-lab mate is awesomeeee =)
Soooo proud of my dear friend =*)
Crazy crowd after the ceremony!!
Best SP ever. Meeting Sam during Scamp has got to be the best thing that happened during the camp ;)
Practical-labmate turned good friend =)
And so we reunite again!! Life's in Uni will be pathetic and boring without them!
Happy some of my sec sch girlfriends attended too! And thanks for the sunflower!! So pwetty! Can't wait to be back in Ngee Ann for our Grad shoot!!!!
Iraneus surprised me with a cute orange daisy =)
Wonder how dirty this lion is (it's there every year for God knows how many commencment sessions) but #idon'tcare. haha.
Sneaked back to the interview area so we could make use of their backdrop!! hehehe.
Thank you for the bear boyfee <3
Jiejie came and bought me the Grad Lion =*) So touched!!!
Then theBF suddenly said "eh, i brought Dog. You dare to take pic?"
And ta-dah:
LOL.
Thankful for SL and Iraneus that made projects during my final year in NUS so smooth-sailing.
And with that...
I GRADUATED!!!
Until next time!
