Fall for you

How did your Valentine's Day go? Did you spend it with your partner, best friend or family? =)

For me and theBF, we had a "let's be a tourist in Singapore" Vday theme as we headed to S.E.A Aquarium, Resort World Sentosa!

Normal adult tickets go for S$29 but do remember to bring your student pass if you are a student because you get to go in at a discounted price of only S$20 =)

My toy flower says hello! HAHA.

There was a long Q at the ticketing counters that day so it took us about 20minutes before we finally entered the compound -__-"

TheBF requested i present my flower to Zheng He -___-" LOL.

Another snake-long Q at the entrance of the actual aquarium T.T This was worse than the Q outside because i think we waited in line for up to 40minutes? Yawns.

Finally!!

Hello jellyfish =)

Known as the world's largest aquarium, it was an eye-opening experience for the both of us. However, i doubt we will head there any time soon. You know, it's like those places you will go "oooh" and "ahhh" the very first time you go then probably be bored to death upon your 2nd and 3rd visit. Lol. The sharks' section was REALLY boring though =/

-----

Dinner at Putien restaurant since Din Tai Fung had such a long queue and i was famished!!

Mandatory Vday card exchange for us both =) We stuck to our usual tradition of not buying gifts for each other on Vday but i think a card on this special occasion is so necessary!! =)

TheBF oogling at the lady on my envelope. HAHA.

Once in a while, i can be a sexy blonde bimbo too~

And me with my handmade card from him~ It's actually quite small but given that he drew 1397264 hearts on the cover and shaded one of them, 100marks for effort la hor?? =P hahaha.

Putien Homemade Tofu
Ordered all our dishes in small but the portion is just nice for the both of us =) The sauce that accompanied the egg beancurd was the wow factor for this one!

I didn't think theBF would suggest Claypot Chicken in Fermented Red Rice Wine for our meat dish because it is not something friends of our age normally order or have even tried before. So naturally i was overjoyed when he asked if we should order 砂锅红糟鸡
This claypot chicken did not disappoint. The red rice wine sauce was thick and tasty accompanied with a distinct wine aroma. Coupled with the black fungus, it was truly enjoyable =) One of the best i have tasted in years, in fact!

One of Putien's signature dish - Fried Heng Hwa Bee Hoon
It was actually our least favorite that evening. Even though there were alot of ingredients added (prawns, clams, vegetables, pork, mushrooms...), the bee hoon was quite tasteless and dry.

Another Putien's hot favorite - Pu Tien Lor Mee
I would pick this over their beehoon anytime. This is actually their small bowl but it was sooooo filling and satisfying =) *Smacks lips.

Slotting in my OOTD before i end my entry
White lace top - Thread Theory
Baroque navy skirt - The Tinsel Rack
Ribbon belt - Yventually
Alexis bag in brown - Yventually
(Psst, Alexis is making a comeback in a few collections' time with new shades for Spring!)

So that's all for now~ Until next time!!!
