It's my birthday!

My 24th birthday gone in a flash but i had one of the most wonderful day with my loved ones and meeting more friends in the weeks to come!

TheBf surprised me this year at 12am sharp with cupcakes from Plain Vanilla =*)

Woke up to Mum's mee sua with quail eggs and pig kidneys. A family tradition every single year.

Then it's off to brunch at The Line, Shangri-La

So many food counters so many choices!!!!!

Round one, starts now! *ding ding ding*

Their laksa and prawn noodle soup from their chinese food booth was really yummy!

A pleasant surprise to see passion fruits at the fruit counters! NEVER seen them at any buffets i've been to!!

I just came back from the dessert booth when the staff of The Line came to our table with a birthday cake! Even theBF was shocked because all he did was mention it was my birthday during reservation to ensure we are given the indoor seats and never did we expect the restaurant to surprise us with a cake. Such attentiveness to such small details was what impressed me during the meal, not to mention the commendable service we received throughout brunch with the staff constantly refilling our drinks and clearing plates =) And yes, 2 staff even sang me a birthday song! haha.

Caught Wreck-it Ralph (great movie!) with theBF after the meal before heading back to join my family for dinner since Dad's out of town again. Simple birthday with the people i love, that's what i want, every single year =)
