The Fabulous Baker Brunch

Sunday brunch is now officially a "hip" thing to do in Singapore so while theBF is drowning in his notes preparing for exams, im out with my girlfriends looking for the perfect brunch location and satisfying our tummies. hehehe.

Our destination? The Fabulous Baker Boy, at The Foothills Fort Canning Park. This afresco cafe is situated right opposite Liang Court so it is quite accessible even for those without a car (aka me)

Ah yes, keep calm and indulge ;)

Three cups of coffee with three different coffee art. So much dedication it's comforting!

And the cutest coffee art definitely goes to Doreen's Latte with the most adorable rabbit!!!!! It is so cute she almost couldn't bear to drink! haha.

Brunch partners for the afternoon =)

Spiced Apple Cider Pancakes, only available on their Sunday Brunch menu
The batter got a little too thick towards the center of the pancakes but it is still quite delicious nevertheless! Perfect for sharing among friends ;)

Garlic fries with Truffle Aioli
Truffle fries are too mainstream so we cool kids ate Garlic Fries. HAHA. Fabulously-seasoned fries dipped in Truffle Aioli sauce....just delish!

Tuna Melt
Highly raved among the netizens, i persuaded my friends to order this for sharing as well. Im a tuna lover so how can i resist this dish especially when the baguette, tuna, cheese and onions make such a wonderful combination!

What Singaporeans are good at - snapping pics of food before each meal. keke.

Triple Chocolate Cake
So rich and moist!! If you love chocolates, this would be something you cannot miss.

Their signature Red Velvet Cake
It is moist and fluffy (and generous in serving) but sadly, the rich chocolate aftertaste of the previous cake overpowered the taste of this cake =( To truly appreciate it, i would definitely eat this first the next time!

Satisfied and happy customers in the end =)) Can't wait to bring more friends here to try some of their other creations. Love how it is far from the busy city which makes it a great place to chill over the weekends.

Until next time!
