Weekday brunch with Jun before my eye appointment! She picked Food for Thought at Botanic Gardens because it is close to the hospital (literally 10minutes away!) so we don't have to rush from one place to another =)
Crowded even though it was a week-day!
Love this area with the long benches. Reminded me of my secondary school canteen where my girlfriends and i would have the whole bench to ourselves and gossip. keke.
House Works
I replaced the Butter Toast with Garlic Mushrooms because i'm not a big fan of bread. Was so impressed with the portion because it was HUGEEEEE. If you are not too hungry, this dish alone would be good for sharing among 2 friends/couple!!
Side #01, showing the scrambled eggs and garlic mushrooms (me likey!!) I can totally hear Jun saying "be careful of garlic breath" as i type this. HAHA.
Side #02 with the Pomme Noisette (mashed potatoes balls) and Roasted Tomato Salad. Oh the Bacon strip says Hi by the way =P
Milk Chocolate Pancakes for Jun with Fresh Cream and Gula Melaka syrup.
We both agreed maple syrup would have been a better choice. I was a little taken back when i saw the milk chocolate bits on top of the pancakes because i was really expecting chocolate-flavored pancakes instead? haha.
Self-taken pictures with my childhood friend because the lighting inside the restaurant was way too orangey =P
Have fun in Nepal girl!!! =D
Until next time~
