Malaysian Street Food in Sin?

After several failed attempts, my friends and i finally made it to the Malaysian Food Street, Resort World Sentosa for dinner on a Thursday night! It turned out to be a bad call because USS was having their week-long Halloween event so RWS was swarmed with people =(

N's Nasi Briyani

I had Hokkien Mee from the KL Jalan Alor stall!
Much unlike the one we used to eat in Singapore, this Malaysian version uses black sauce and thick Udon-like noodles to give this simple dish a whole new twist. It's sweet and the noodles were prepared to perfection =)

Walked over to the Lor Bak stall to order some Ngoh Hiang for sharing between SH and me. The Q was so  long and the wait was excruciating =((

The Tau Kua was a huge disappointment. It was hard and even the sauce provided could not save its taste. Sigh. As for the Ngoh Hiang, it could have been better i guess. Perhaps because my aunt cooks really yummy ngoh hiang at home for the family, this lor bak we ordered just didn't taste as good as we expected.

SH and my "Im very hungry i really need food" face. AHAHA. SH ordered the Char Kway Teow but i was so hungry i forgot to take a snapshot of it!! She told me it was quite delicious though ;)

Then N and Sam started fooling around with the new prop i bought before our dinner! GIANT LIKE! You likey? haha.

And evidence that N is such a camwhore she must photobomb all pictures!! =P

Ending my post with my new FB profile pic! haha.
Bought this Giant Like prop at ToyTag, HarborFront Centre (level 3) in support of a friend's brother before dinner for S$15.90 =) They also stock a whole bunch of really creative novelty items/games , including the GIANT GUMMY BEAR (5pounds!!) that is perfect for parties and whatnot. =)

Until next time~

Psst, don't forget Yventually's launching on Mon (29 Oct) at 8.30pm!!!!
