Life is GOOD

Grand Hyatt Staff Retreat Private Bazaar/Event

I love doing bazaars and flea markets for Yventually even though it sucks my soul away and leaves me exhausted for the next 2 days. Thanks to a dear customer Iris' kind invite, i was at Grand Hyatt for their staff retreat event for 3 full days. Honestly, to be able to do a bazaar in an air-conditioned room filled with happy people/vendors was a wonderful experience =)

I was allocated a gigantic table for all the Yventually goodies! And yup, the staff at Grand Hyatt were the first to see the upcoming KYLA satchel in all 4 colors. Can you spot them?

I believe i got the best location in the small bazaar cos...
I'M NEXT TO THE TIDBIT STORE!! hahahahahha.
First thing i bought was the giant pack of papadum, which amazingly lasted me the 3 days there. hehehe.

The extremely thoughtful HR organizers even invited members of a nearby makeup school to provide free makeup services for the staff. I really enjoyed looking at the happy faces of the cleaners/waitresses after getting dolled up because you know they don't get that kind of time/privileges to be treated like queens/princesses in their everyday life =)

What do you do after getting dolled up? TAKE PICS AT THE PHOTOBOOTH!! haha.

Staff playing carrom during their lunch breaks...

And uncle checking out his new hairdo (that would be, botak. hahaha) at the salon counters! yes, HAIRCUT IS FREEEEE. So tempted to get my fringe trimmed there myself. haha.

Coffee-break at Maison Ikkoku

A short coffee break at Maison Ikkoku cafe, 20 Kandahar Street (near Arab street) with the poly peeps since Shaun highly recommended their coffee and cakes ;)

Cafe interior with the minimalist approach

Nisha posing with Yventually's eco-bag! hahaha. If you have attended our past 2 mass meetups, you will realise we now provide free eco-bag for all customers!! =)) Im personally really happy with the quality and design of the eco-bag so i believe it is highly reusable!!

Iced Caramel Latte
Wasn't expecting such a strong coffee taste but this cup of coffee sure packs a punch!

Pumpkin Cheesecake
Love the subtle pumpkin taste as it blends with the smooth cheesecake texture =) Not sure if im right but i thought i tasted walnut bits in the bottom crust!! What's not to love?

Pretty coffee art on N's latte!

Spotted their carrot cake on display before i left the place so it shall be on my "have to try" list for my next visit!! =)

Until next time~
