HongKong Day 1

Finally found time to blog about my HongKong trip! But im starting to forget all the little details about the trip because, as friends know me, im suffering from Alzheimer's disease. haha. But im sure all the pics im posting will do the necessary "talking" for me! =)

And soooooooo....Jiejie, Lee, theBF and i endured 4 hours of flight on Tiger (seriously, if im rich, i will nvr consider that airline ever again because their seats are sooo puny =X) and we finally landed on....the LAND OF DIMSUM!!!!!

Lucky us got free airport transport coz we signed up on a land package with a tour agency in Sin so we didnt have to worry about airport transfer during our 5D4N stay in HK!

Arrived at Kimberly Hotel, at ard late 3pm, totally famished! So we had our first meal in HK at this cafe right in front of our hotel! Convenient much! =)

Pardon me for looking damn cui...this is what happens when u get cramped in a tiny little seat/space for 4 hrs. haha.

Anyhows, FOOD PORN! The really yummy wanton mee (2 prawns in each wanton!!! Beat that!) and the EXTREMELY yummylicious shao er/shao rou fan!!! Their roasted pork was really delicious, with just the right amount fatty meat and crispy pork skin *drools*

Explored the streets before our night tour started...and we found Canton Road, where all the high end fashion flagship stores were located! It's like Paragon x10!!!!

We didnt enter any boutiques though, coz Jie and i knew we can't afford anything inside. haha. So..we headed to...
H&M!! Well, i've heard LOADS about this place but unfortunately, they were having their seasonal sale so although some apparels were cheap, they were ALL snatched up by the ah-tiongs as they pushed/shoved/snatched their way through the store -___-" I left the place with a ring set. pathetic. haha.
Spotted an ice-cream van on our way...SO ADORABLE! =)

Our night tour began in the evening with dinner at a nearby restaurant and look at the food they served us? I felt like a rabbit, nibbling on vegetables when the gigantic plate of greens came. haha.
The coach took us uphill after that, to The Peak @ HongKong Island! This is the place to view the HK landscape and the view was breathtaking, especially with the buildings all lit up at night!

Then it was my most-anticipated part of the tour that night - Madame Tussauds Wax Musuem!!!! Took tons of pics so here are some of the unglam/hilarious ones!! hee. Can u recognise all figurines?

Left the wax museum and by the time the coach reached the ferry terminal, it was POURING. July is the season of the typhoons so not only was the rain reallllllyyyyy big, the wind was very strong as well. Hence, we had to wait inside our coach or risk getting drenched from head to toe. Here's a pic taken from the bus...LOOK AT THE TREES!!

Took 20 mins before the rain got smaller and safe enough for us to alight and board this ferry that basically brings visitors from one end of HK to another so we can all enjoy its amazing night view!

Tour ended late at night at Ladies Market but because it was still raining by then, i didnt manage to snap any pics! I dun wan my camera to get caught in the rain! So yea..butttttt, here's our supper!!!!

PHEW. that wraps up my FIRST day in Hongkong. yea, 4 more days to go. LOL. until next time!! =)

P.S. oh yes, pls support my first manufactured clutch with Yventually label insideeeeeee!! =)
