Moooooookata

Barely a month after i am back from Bangkok and i went for mookata again to satisfy my Thai BBQ cravings =D My friends and i had several choices on hand but we settled for Tom Yum Kungfu, 16 Circular Road as it was at a more centralised location (boat quay!!)

If you are planning to head there any time soon, do make your reservation first because the place was sooooo packed by the time we reached. And it was a Wednesday evening, mind you. O.o I actually made a reservation beforehand so we were directed to our seats really quickly.

Apart from Mookata BBQ sets, you can also opt for thai dishes for dinner instead. Since my friends and i were craving for authentic thai BBQ, we ended up with a set meal fit for 4-5pax.

Whoop whoop, a large tray of pork meat and seafood! The portion's just right for us 4 though i would have hoped they had more variety when it came to their meat? There were only the marinated pork and sliced pork belly to choose from but with that being said, their marinated pork was so delicious!! =P

Love how they marinated their pork meat with sesame which really brings out the flavor of the meat. Also, sliced pork belly and BBQ is just the perfect combination don't you agree?

This is not my first mookata experience in Singapore, but i haven't blogged about my past visits to other mookata-related outlets because i just didn't think it was good enough? Even the one at Golden Mile (which everyone seems to be crazy about?) was kinda disappointing when i was there with my family previously. Hence, you know how much i love Tom Yum Kungfu!! We paid about S$15/pax for our dinner of 4, inclusive of the drinks we ordered which is actually quite affordable right? =) 

Oh, don't say i didn't warn you, please don't ever consider going shopping or even the movies after the meal here as the ventilation here is certainly not the best (especially if you are seated indoors like we did =/) haha. You have been warned =P
