Mini food post is back~~
My second trip to Hoshino Coffee (read about my first visit here) but just for their desserts this time round! Broke fast with my friends at another eatery before that since Hoshino Coffee is not halal-certified but we made sure we left enough space in our tummies for post-dinner treats =D
Pancake Souffle Style with Mango
My friends were quite skeptical about ordering pancakes since in their own words "it looks so thick in the pictures leh" However, i convinced them Hoshino Coffee serves the fluffiest and light pancakes i have ever eaten since my previous trip and successfully coerced them into ordering it. hahaha. When the pancake dish came with the softee ice cream and mango and kiwi toppings and they each took a bite, *ding ding* completely sold! =P
Matcha Souffle
Gave their pot-baked souffle a try as well and picked the green tea flavored one! The matcha flavor was lacking on this one but i love the texture of this dessert! I've read reviews online about how their souffle was served sunken (can you imagine the disappointment?) but i'm glad mine came all fluffed up and looking extremely appetizing! hehe. It was crisp on the outside and piping hot, moist and fluffy on the inside. Definitely on par with my all-time favorite chocolate souffle from Bakerzin. Served with softee ice cream (optional) too!!
Looking at these desserts are making me seriously hungry!! =( Oh wells, looking forward to more food adventures with my friends!
