On a "find the best pho in Singapore" mission a few days ago and hunted down another Vietnamese eatery with Ace for some late lunch. We visited Pho Stop, at 21 Tanjong Pagar Road, as i've read several positive reviews on their Pho dishes and ice cream (i know, not very Vietnamese but who can resist ice cream right?)
More of a Vietnamese-Western fusion concept, this cozy restaurant also serves alcohol and western coffee (think Cafe Mocha etc) apart from the authentic Vietnamese drip coffee.
Hello colorful chopsticks!! =) That's the Olivia satchel in mint in the background as Ace was busy checking out the color of the bag. haha.
Pho with Sliced Beef and Beef Balls
A generous portion of Vietnamese rice noodle dish was served with some raw vegetables and chilli sauce a short moment after we ordered! =) I love their soup base and soft rice noodles!! I wished the beef slices could be more tender though.
Happy me! =D
We also shared their Savoury Fries which are straight cut fries sprinkled with their house seasonings. Pretty addictive bowl of appetizer!
And the dessert we came here for! Picked Vietnamese Coffee flavor and it came in this adorable jar, filled to the brim no less. The coffee flavor was strong and this small jar of ice cream was sooo delicious!
Took an OOTD shot when we left:
Peplum top: The Tinsel Rack
Kitty shoes: S$10 from Far East Plaza!!
Olivia satchel in Mint: Yventually
Until next time~
