Behind-the-scene: Collection 111 Taylor Mini

Hello everyone~

Months ago when i was settling our Fall/Winter manufactured handbags, i came across a handbag campaign from a luxury brand that featured a series handbags of very similar designs in different shapes to suit the different occasions. That is when an idea struck me "Hey, i can do a small series like that too!"

With Christmas and Lunar New Year so close to one another this 2013/14, it thus makes sense to manufacture a compact clutch/crossbody that will suit the upcoming occasions! You guys have seen the Taylor satchel so now it's time to meet Taylor's sister....

Taylor Mini =D

Designed as a duo-sided bag, there is no incorrect way to carry the bag! We produced this bag with the "slip-in" handle as seen on Lauren clutch previously, given its popularity since we introduced the Lauren. I think this feature is especially handy if you are intending to use Taylor Mini as a clutch over the festive season because it allows a better grip for you to brave the crrrraaazzzzyyyyy crowd at Orchard.(C'mon, we all know/experienced that) haha.

Available in Cream...

Camel...

Black...

and wait for it....

Rose!
Please note: THIS IS NOT RED.
We have received some feedbacks from customers that red bags are hard to match though the vibrant shade can be irresistible. After discussion with my manufacturer, she helped me source for a leather chart that has nice shades of red without looking overwhelming. From there, we picked this ROSE shade, which contains pink undertones. I can assure you that this shade is so ggggooorrrrgeous in real life that Elaine couldn't help but settled for this color immediately during the shoot =)

A closeup look at the leatherette material

It is not hard to guess which color i picked.
I kept Taylor satchel in Black for its versatility and this Mini in Rose simply for its pure beauty. hehehe.

Since this is going to be our sole Christmas collection, i had to make sure it is a comprehensive launch so i don't disappoint you guys right?

Apart from the Taylor Mini, we are also introducing several mini crossbody bags imported from the latest work trip. Yup, fressssh from the supplier's factory!

Previously known as PATTY mini bags, these 3.1 Phillip Lim-inspired crossbody bags will be named under a new name during this launch because
(1) Material used this time round is different (both leatherette and velvet material)
(2) Quality is also slightly different which explains the reduced price for this series
With that being said, this might be your last chance getting these inspired bags from Yventually though. I tried to get the factory to manufacture the original Patty bags but they quoted me a ridiculous number of bags i had to bring in and i had to give up. Sorry peeps! =(

Oh oh oh, and what's dressing up without some chic accessories right?

Kenzo Tiger-inspired necklace.
I LOVE this. Like over-the-top-no-words-to-describe loveeeee for this piece.
Enough said. haha.

Inspired by a popular Kdrama "Master's Sun", this necklace is gifted by the male lead to the female lead in the show. For me, it's just a simple and elegant design that adds a touch of class to any outfits. haha.

Also available tonight: Bead Bracelets with heart or crown charm =) It is easily stretchable because of its elastic band by the way. One size fits all ftw!

Last but not least, a pair of sparkling ribbon ear studs that is bound to make heads turn.

Our FB LIKE&SHARE giveaway is back on this collection and our apparel sponsor Allure 8ight is so generous to chip in by gifting our winners a set of the pretty floral romper (seen on Elaine with Taylor mini in cream) as well!!
So, head over to our FB page if you have not liked & shared our album:
