Behind-the-scene: Becks, messenger bag from Collection 96

Hello hello~ Welcome to another episode of "Behind-the-scenes, Yventually style" haha. 

This week, we are launching our self-manufactured messenger bag, a collaboration with our apparel collaborator Chaceylove =)

So the story goes Ace (from Chaceylove) has been bugging me to manufacture/bring in Proenza Schouler-inspired pieces for my shop because she really love the design. I am a big fan of the PS1 myself but i just didn't want to bring in an inspired design that looks too similar to the original bag. Hence, I told her we should collaborate and MANUFACTURE our perfect messenger bag together =D

We were both very satisfied with the end product =) To say that my photoshoot was filled with hurdles  is an understatement. My first shoot was cancelled because i fell really sick on the day of shoot, then my 2nd shoot was cancelled as my model had to go for a surgery and i couldn't find a replacement on time, then the 3rd one was cancelled as my OTHER model fell sick and we FINALLY got the shoot done with E on our 4th attempt. CRAZY isn't it?! lol. 

Introducing BECKS, the messenger bag

For Yventually, we manufactured it in 3 colors, 2 of which are exclusive to my shop =)

BLACK

So you are not feeling particularly flashy these days and you really just want a messenger bag that can match 90% of the apparels in your wardrobe, well, you are staring at an obvious choice of color right now ;)

This is also blogger Lian Meiting's choice when we asked her to pick her favorite color for this collection!

Egyptian Blue

The blue shade injects a sense of funk and easygoing personality to the bag design, something that led me to keep the Becks bag in this exact color =)

You know how monochrome is about to take over the fashion world by storm this Spring/Summer so add this bag color to your wardrobe to complement your black/white apparels!

Plum Purple

Looking refined and polished in this unique shade of purple, I am always amazed by how the choice of color of a bag can change the overall vibe of the design. Own the chic uptown getup with this bag now~

I posted a picture of my 2nd photoshoot with this bag on my Instag @yvonnekt and got many of my friends asking what exactly am i doing with this giant glowing equipment. haha. 

It's actually my LightBox for specific product shots! Bought it on Taobao some time ago while online shopping with my colleagues and it finally got delivered =D

TA-DAHHHHHHH~!!! So much more professional-looking eh? You can now see the details of the bags/shoes clearly, just like those from established online retailers.

Like i mentioned, i kept the Becks in Egyptian Blue and brought this bag to my outing with Ace as we brought out the color that is exclusive to our shop respectively. Read about the recent YventuallyxChaceylove outing if you haven't!

And another shot of me, taken recently on a dinner date with my girlfriends. Look how it still complements my semi-formal outfit! =D And yes, i was in pants (from M phosis)!!! Someone buy lottery pls. HAHA.

The mass meetup will be held this coming Friday evening since i am flying off for my next work trip by next Tues so you need not wait so long to collect your bag if you are keen~
