Lunar new year is almost here and I'm still frantically shopping for my CNY outfits. Mum's strict rule of "no black or anything dark colored apparels for CNY" is really driving me nuts because my wardrobe is 75% that =( Have you guys started shopping for yours?

Anyway, I was ecstatic when my supplier told me the Monroe clutch/cross-body bag will arrive before new year because i soooo wanted to launch it just in time for the festive season since the shape and size is simply perfect for this upcoming occasion!

If you notice from our past few self-manufactured collections, although our bags continue to be inspired by high-end brands, we are moving away from simply making bags that look like those that you see on the runway towards adding our own touch to our self-manufactured designs. I think it is extremely important for the growth of Yventually that we head towards this direction as i want us to have a much more distinctive brand in months/years to come and to create our own bag designs while still remaining on trend. Give us a holler if you agree so at least we know we are right on track? =)

We did our shoot at Tiong Bahru and I was contemplating if i should buy a mobile changing tent due to the lack of toilets within the area. Thankfully, CL offered to let G change at her place since she lived within the estate. SOOOO grateful to her as it was so much more convenient to get G to change there. She even became my "slave" for the day. Things my friends do for me =*)

Sorry, no pics of me because during photoshoot days, i perspire so much i look horrible =/ And yep, im the "Bao Ga Liao" guy so im the photographer, on top of being the "stylist" and "saikang warrior" for my shoot. hehe.

Why is G so gorgeous in this picture!! I want her small face, big eyes, long lashes and sharp nose. Erm, yea, i kinda just want her entire face. HAHA.

I did a "What's in my bag" shoot too. I understand many customers start to worry whenever i say certain bags don't fit A4 documents. However, this does not mean this Monroe bag cannot fit all your necessities =) Besides, we wanted this bag to be suitable for the upcoming CNY, i.e. handbag-looking; not too bulky, so making it big really makes no sense too right?
