Cafe-Hop: Duxton Road/Hill

Did you guys enjoy my very first "Cafe-Hop" entry on Tiong Bahru? My girlfriends and i met up again last Sunday for our 2nd cafe-hop session, this time round, at Duxton Road =)

They were all coincidentally dressed in green (oh, notice the road sign? kekeke) so i forced them to take a picture together. hehehe.

First stop: Group Therapy cafe for brunch

It does look a little empty in this picture but i would strongly advise you guys to go early for brunch (they open at 9am on Sundays!) because there was already a Q by the time we left at around 11.30am!

Peach Nectar fruit juice

Roasted almond latte

I picked Caffe Mocha that comes with dark chocolate buttons in my drink.

Simply love the gradient you see the moment the drink is served =) A very chocolaty flavored coffee indeed.

BLT Croissant Plate (All day brunch special)
What a plateful of goodness =D I was so blown away by their croissant bun stuffed with grilled bacon because the croissant was crispy and fluffy! And then you have the bratwurst sausage and sunny side ups to go with your side salad and croissant bun. Need i say more?

Poached Eggs
The smoked salmon was more raw than i expected (i don't eat sashimi. yup, just me) but the hollandaise sauce, thick toast and eggs saved the day =D

Sunny Side Ups
Came with thick toast, cheddar cheese, parma ham and avocado sauce! Another satisfying treat!

Our egg-y brunch =D

The last time i came to Group Therapy cafe for coffee, theBF and i were too full to stomach their popular 4-layer Carrot Cake so i just had to order this as our after-brunch dessert before we left GT!

This slice of cake was huge! The soft, dense texture of the cake and satisfying cream cheese frosting are definitely reasons for me to go back for moreeeee!

2nd stop of the day: Flor Pattiserie (Duxton Hill)

SO MANY CAKES SO MANY CHOICES --> Serious dilemma! haha.

Settled for Berry Berries (well, the tag "Chef's Special" did help in the decision-making)

and Earl Grey Chocolat
This cake was full of surprises with every bite! First it was the unique and delicious earl grey cream then i was surprised to find banana bits hidden near the centre of the dark chocolate meringue!! =)

Ending off with my ootd!
