Found a set of pictures in my computer of my Paul Bakery visit with my friends and realised i have not blogged about it! I'm sure most of you guys already know, the famous French chain has opened an outlet at Ngee Ann City a while ago and unlike the one i went to at Champs Elysees, Paris, this one's posh and classy-looking! It actually looked more like a restaurant than a Patisserie.
Dessert-partners =) We were the loudest group that night and erm, definitely out-of-place. haha.
Tartelette Citron (Lemon meringue tart)
I didn't get to try this in Paris so this was a must-order for me when we looked through the menu. Tangy lemon curd and sweet and light meringue is a good match indeed!
In between desserts, Sam insisted he wants his picture taken with the Lion Dance performance at level one. haha. Yes, we were enjoying the traditional Chinese Lion Dance performance while enjoying our French desserts. We just brought dessert-appreciation to a whole new level. hahaha.
Ordered a dessert set that comes with a pot of hot tea, macarons, creme bulee and soft dark chocolate cake. Had a good time guessing the flavors of our macarons but sadly, the rest of the desserts were just forgettable.
SH's sorbet which she hated =/ It was indeed nothing special but who orders sorbet at a bakery?!?! lol.
There were hits and misses during our visit there but i would say stick to the Strawberry tart (tried and tested previously) and Lemon tart and you should not go wrong!
That's all for the short entry. Until next time~
