(Failed) Photoshoot Recce

Im currently looking for new locations for future Yventually photoshoot sessions and Ann Siang Hill was one of the many places that I was considering since it has an array of cafes and bars to choose from. After much research online, i decided to pop by K Ki pastisserie with Jie and Lee on a Saturday afternoon! Well, the raving reviews by bloggers about the cakes from K-Ki cafe did play a very important role in my decision too =P hehehe.

Donned in my PullandBear denim shirt that i got a year back. Secretly happy i didnt throw this item out during my spring-cleaning because denim always come back in fashion every once in a while, especially during Spring/Summer seasons ;)

Also in my new HandM (Stockholm) cap-front pumps and self-manufactured black bucketbag from Yventually (upcoming)
Bucketbag is available in Black (the only one with suede front), Navy, Pastel Lilac (so unique!!) and Cream. I'll provide more pics in time to come ok! We still have one more launch to go (expect casual bags) before launching this pretty =D

One look at the store-front and im in love!

The place's really small but cosy and comes with just a small counter displaying all the cakes they sell.

My candid tea buddies. lol.

We ordered 2 slices of cakes for sharing since we had a heavy lunch beforehand.

Antoinette
White chocolate mousse with mango filling.
Im not a chocolate person (i know, im not a normal girl) and chocolate cakes are normally not my first choice because they are often way too sweet and overwhelming for my liking. However, this small slice of white chocolate cake won my heart because it was so light and moist!! The first time i ever sing praises for chocolate cake i swear. haha.

Fromage Melon
A mousse cake made with fromage blanc and fresh melons, giving it a cheesecake-like texture.
I picked this cake because i wanted a more refreshing and fruity choice since i didn't know if the white-chocolate Antoinette would be too sweet for me and this turned out to be Jie's favorite out of the two. Love how they incorporated sweet rock melon bits at the centre of the cake, which blended in perfectly with the light fromage blanc mousse! =) Yet another thumbs up!

My iced latte, with the cutest syrup container. haha. The drink is nothing to rave about though. Just your usual cup of coffee.

Located within the same premises is the Little Drom Store that sells random knick-knacks! Too bad the shop was getting a little too crowded by the time we left so we didnt really get a chance to browse through the cutesy stuff they had for sale.

Love the simple layout of the cafe but too bad the owner's not too keen in letting me shoot at their premises =( Hence, it was a failed photoshoot recce but i think i found yet another place for chilling on a hot Saturday noon. Can't wait to bring my friends here to try out the rest of the cakes!!

Oh, in case you are wondering, the price points for these small cakes are on the high side, around $7-9 per item. That's the only thing i was not satisfied about i guess. haha.

Ending off the entry with yet another pic of me and my new bag =P I only start camwhoring whenever i carry a new Yventually bag, if you realise. After i started using models for Yventually, i began hating how i look on pictures 90% of the time as well (too fat/too ugly/eyes too small. LOL), which explains why pics of me usually don't appear so often though it's really my personal blog/space here. haha. Oh wells.

Until next time!! =)
