So last Friday, the first part of the "slaying" began as the Hons batch was asked to present our posters to 2 examiners. I was simply a nervous wreck because i knew exactly who my examiners were. The only reaction my friends gave when i told them who my "slayers" were: "I salute you! You need tons of luck to survive" hur, HOW ENCOURAGING.
The day before, i was forced to print another poster because i found some minor mistakes on the first one and it drove me crazy just looking at them. Sigh.
In the end, the defected poster was hung on my hall room wall so i could practise with my speech. I knew my neighbours could hear me perfectly and they must have thought im one nutcase -_-"
My only audience for the night =P
Last minute research because you never know what the examiners like to ask
Went for the morning session the next day to support Nisha and Cynthia!! =) Looking at them present made me EVEN more nervous, knowing that my session will only start in 3-4 hours time. Bah.
Miss Poster-Girl, feeling all proud and satisfied that her presentation's over. Check out her photo on her poster, if you have been taking "A" shuttle-bus in NUS, you will find her extremely familiar because her big-ass face's all over the bus promoting NUS. AHHAHAHAHAHA.
Sam and i, totally faking a smile because while everyone's relax now, we are beginning to feel the nerves as our turn approaches =(
My constipated face, while waiting for the examiners, in line with my project. HAHA.
Not a very glamorous picture of me while being grilled by one of my examiners =/
Honestly, i was disappointed with my performance after looking at the response i got from my second examiner. But whatever, after 8 months of pure torture and pain, i couldn't care less about my grades no more.
People who stayed behind to support me! Thanks CL for popping by!!!! =*)
My senior from the lab =)
Goofing around with Sam's poster! haha.
In 2 weeks time, im gonna hand in my 100-page thesis and this nightmare will then officially end. I CAN'T WAIT!!!! =D
until next time!
Hello! I'm the customer who came by your poster! Heh. Saw your tweet (the one thanking me) but din reply since mine is a protected account so you wouldn't be able to see. Regardless how you fare for your poster, remember to include in your discussion of your thesis the things/points your examiners mentioned. Jiayou for the last leg of your University life! :)
