Last day in Penang started late because everyone's (particularly, ME. lol) was tired from the wedding the night before so we were all lying in bed till Jie and Lee came over after they returned the gown.
Megan lying on the bed with me with my Ninja =)) Cuteness overdose!
Off to Penang's Largest Toy Museum at Tanjung Bungah!
What greeted us when the main door swung open - ROWS and ROWS of cabinets displaying HEAPS of toys!
Can you recognise all of them? ;)
@theBF, this is for you:
And @Sally, your idol!!! =P
They had this corner specially created for toys from horror movies/shows =/
Spent a good amount of time browsing through the shelves of toys and as you can see, they have toys ranging from movies, to cartoons, to TV shows. A really good place to visit if you are in Penang because there is bound to be a toy for everyone of all ages!! =)
I left Penang on the night flight that evening alone because i had to be in lab the very next day so Jie and Lee brought me to Gurney Drive for dinner once again while the others explored other places.
Thankfully, weather was good that day!
Chicken backsides & meatballs from the BBQ corner *YUMSSSSSS
Asam Laksa again! Love the udon-like noodles!
Oh and a pic of their Chee Cheong Fun!
Instead of sweet black sauce, Penang style uses shrimp paste (hae ko), giving it a old new flavor.
Alrighty, that wraps up my travelogue posts on Penang =) My travel entries always seem to attract more attention/readership than normal food posts so hope you guys enjoyed this series too!!
Until next time~
