Just got back from Bangkok a few days ago with 2 of my craziest polymates!! =) We had alot of fun eating, shopping, HTHT-ing and braving the roads on the tuktuks! HAHA.
As this was meant to be a personal shopping trip, i didn't bring along my camera so all photos are taken randomly using my iphone =P The most enjoyable part of my trip? Speaking to the locals in my (broken) thai! My acaarn (teacher) once said the best way to improve on a new language is to practise practise practise! I couldn't agree more~
A&W Curly Fries!
The adorable Shih Tzu we saw at Chatuchak! Khaw chii Tinker kah. (His name is Tinker)
You can't go BKK without eating Swensens because the ice cream there is SOOOOOOO cheap.
Beautifully pedicured feet!
And i lugged a big box of Krispy Kreme home for my family too~ The yummylicious glazed donuts are to die for. Glad we queued for them though the queue was pretty horrendous, i've got to admit.
Was walking past a roadside stall when i saw this book lying in the midst of many other rejected books on the floor. Even though it was rejected by the bookstore (that starts with a capital letter K) due to its slightly damaged cover, the pages inside are squeaky clean and brand-new. At just S$8, i knew i had to grab it =)
One of the day's buy. As you can see, it's damn pathetic =( Only the cardigan and calculator were mine. The 2 anime dolls belonged to my Jap-crazy brother btw. I had a hard time figuring out who is who at the anime store in Chinatown, BKK so i got fed-up and grabbed 2 dolls that i assumed he would like. LOL. Guess what, i "guessed" correctly. Hur hur. So smart right. It's ironic how i never agreed to his obsession with cosplaying and whatnot and there I was, adding on to his crazy dolls/figurines collection -__-"
Oh, and check out my ever-growing rings collection! LOL. I bet i bought enough rings for both my hands AND feet during this trip. HAHAHA.
Cant wait to return to the Land of Smiles soon! Hopefully, next time round, we have Cheryl and Mich to join us too!! ;)
Until next time!
