One stressful week, packed with test/presentations/flea market, just ended and looking back at my older blog posts, i came to realise i rarely blog about behind-the-scenes kinda stuff for Yventually. i've been wanting to post pictures about my flea markets but i was so pre-occupied with the preparatory work most of the time i forgot to take any pictures -_-"
So this time round, i told myself "MUST BRING MY S95" because that's the whole point of getting a more compact camera isn't it!
Met Sally and Mich for a random gathering at Katong in the early afternoon on Sat since my flea market was scheduled at 7pm that evening =)
Navy lace top: LoveBonito
Black skorts: PiecesOfSummer
The bag i carried? Yventually's CAMMY handbag =)
I still have customers requesting for this bag so if, by any chance, my supplier decides to stock this again, i will definitely bring them in!
We didn't have a destination in mind so after we met, we simply strolled along the streets of Katong looking for that perfect place for lunch.
Ended up at 4 Season Taiwanese Cuisine restaurant because we were drawn by the pictures of the delicious Taiwanese food in the menu. teehee.
For a small restaurant, the menu is pretty extensive! Apart from the traditional Taiwanese food like 卤肉饭, 蚝仔面线 and 超大鸡排, they also included Hongkong and Japanese-themed cuisine as well.
I stayed true to my 红烧牛肉面 while Sally and Mich picked Fried Udon and 盐酥鸡 set meal respectively =)
I always love how Taiwanese beef noodle soup taste like (somebody give me 三商巧福牛肉麵 anytime!) but detest the fact that beef tendons are used. This explains why my bowl was still filled with beef chunks after the meal. What a dilemma. haha.
Check out my Grass Jelly Milk Tea!! I love the picture below because my face looked DAMN SMALL?! hahahah.
Rushed home to take a quick nap before heading out to Singapore Arts Museum for Flea-tique's Late Night Flea edition.
Dad was not available to drive me to SAM so i had to hail a cab and dragged all the big bags and whatnot out of the house myself. Thank gdness Nisha volunteered to help me for the first few hours of the flea market! I've always been blessed with so many supportive friends and it really makes preparing and attending flea markets and bazaars less of a chore =)
I looked like i have a bigger butt in my skorts!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHHA.
If you spot a bag that has not been seen on Yventually, they are new designs to be launched soon ;)
Sales wasn't as good as i expected, maybe because the performances at SAM did not attract as much crowd as the annual Museum Open House.
So glad Shirley and HP were at the stalls beside me so i wouldn't be so bored after Nisha left!
When i finally reached home at 2am that day, i just wanted to dive into my bed =X Flea markets always drain my energy out because i feel that no matter how tired i may be as time passes by, i got to make sure everyone is happy shopping at my booth. So i tend to push myself a little too hard at times. Nevertheless, i hope everyone is happy with their purchase that day!!! =)
Until next time~
