This CNY has been hectic hectic hectic. In fact, my family's still hosting another group of relatives at our place in less than 10hours time and i really ought to be slping now. haha.

Invited some friends (ok, 3 pathetic ones) over to my place! haha. Most of my chinese friends have visitation to do on their own or are hosting guests at their place so basically only the non-chinese ones could make it? hahaha.

My mum prepared Lou Hei for us!! =D

So i went on a shopping spree...

So i went a little berserk today and bought 2 pairs of Melissa shoes!! =/ 

My initial intention was to try out that Jason Wu x Melissa ultragirl pumps at Wheelock Place and probably get it since Mum has agreed to sponsor me as my (really belated) birthday gift but that branch's left with a size too small. Worst of all, the salesgirl told me she brought over all sizes left at Tangs' outlet so Wheelock Place is basically the only branch left that carries it. 

I was sooo disappointed until their Spring/Summer 2012 moccasin design caught my eye and given that it's $50 cheaper than the pumps, i decided to purchase it!

Unwilling to give up (i call it, 6th sense? haha), i went to the Tangs outlet on my way to the bus stop and guess what? THEY HAD ONE FINAL PAIR LEFT AND IT'S IN MY SIZE!! *jumps ard*

And so, i confirmed my purchase right away, only to feel guilty when i looked down and saw my paper bag from Wheelock and got reminded "oh ya, i just bought that moccasin an hour ago  -_-"

Nevertheless, Melissa jelly shoes are well-known for their high comfort level and i shall be seen prancing around in these beauties very soon!! =D

Being gluttons that we both are, we walked over to Victor's Kitchen, Sunshine Plaza near dinner time to grab a late afternoon bite!

The place's EMPTY when we were there! Far cry from our previous visit! Probably coz it's a weekday afternoon?

We tried a new dish that day - Carrot Cake in XO sauce =) Very interesting dish, given that carrot cake is normally deep fried and crispy in most dim-sum menu but V.K's carrot cake totally soaked in XO sauce. Nevertheless, yum yum yum!
