I'll take one of each, thanks.

New York Fashion Week just ended not long ago and I've been spending my lab incubation time (albeit really short and troublesome since i kept having to put on and remove my gloves repeatedly -_-) reading reviews and ogling at the pretty clothes and BAGSSSSSSS.

Here's some of my favorites!!

*Top left clockwise: Victoria Beckham tote & clutch, dresses from Rebecca Minkoff, red tote from Marc by Marc Jacobs, outfit and cream python clutch from Jason Wu

Victoria Beckham's bag collection is TO DIE FOR this upcoming season. So many brightly-colored bags sent down the various runways but i think V.B did it best with her color-blocking. Orange + Black = drool-worthy bag. I think i'll need to source for an orange bag to sell on Yventually or to just own one myself soon! hehehe.

Oh, and Oscar de la Renta's got some gorgeous dresses too!! Me and my sick penchant for M-shape bust and lace.

London Fashion Week is on-going but i've already decided Mulberry has the BEST fashion party set-up ever. So so so drawn to the impressive layout with the cutest-looking balloons (i'll take one tiger balloon. thanks. haha)

You can see their party video at their site: http://www.mulberry.com/#/ss12fashionweek/theparty/

Alrighty, that's all for now. Maybe i'll post up another entry about bags found in LFW when i have more time next week!!

Until next time~ (Time for revision. dreads)

So You Think He Can Dance?

Nothing interesting to blog about these days because i haven't had time to try out new restaurants/cafe and whatnot and while im still waiting for our self-manufactured clutch to arrive (oh gawd, the wait is sooooo excruciating), here's a REALLY FUNNY video theBF showed me this noon.

He is so chubby but he does the perfect split and cartwheeled across the room. Now BEAT THAT! haha. And his expressions were...priceless. haha.

Oh, remember to catch our launch later at 10.30am at yventually.livejournal.com =))

Until next time!

Fill my tummy

Stock-taking at the supplier, trimming my tresses at the hair salon, power-napping on my comfy bed...Ahhh, what a rare no-lab day!! Hence, i decided to churn out a blog entry to complete my day :P
So Marche's well-known for its marketplace concept but when Cheryl suggested Medz at Orchard Central and said it's really similar to the former, we all went "HUH?! what is this place?" lol.

Suz and Mich couldnt make it so it's left with the 3 of us on that weekday evening =)

Medz's located at Basement 2! It's actually pretty big so definitely not hard to miss!

Array of food stalls!

Making use of their beeper system to collect our food items!!

Food we ordered!

Beef Salami Thin-Crust pizza =D

Chicken Paella (the only dish that kinda disappoint that night)

Thick creamy mushroom soup!!

ROSTI!!!!!

Duck Confit (A tad salty but me like!)

Dessert for the night: WAFFLES WITH COOKIES&CREAM ICE CREAM =)

There is this DBS credit/debit card promotion so our sinful dinner only totalled up to $42 after the 25% discount! Reasonable or what! =) I like how the ambience is more "atas" than Marche so i say it's a good place to dine with friends. Does help that food's pretty yummy on the whole!

Happy diners!

Yup, that's me in my Yventually D&G inspired wedges in Classy Nude! Made me feel so tall that day with its 4inch heel but glad it's soooo much more comfy than my Prettyfit pair (which btw made me squirm in pain during D&D -.-) Oh, with that height, air felt fresher that day too! HAHAHA.

Since im on the topic of the wedges, i've decided to do a simple pictorial tutorial on

How to Buckle the Side Buckle of the Wedges!

It seems that some customers felt that our side buckle kept coming off as they walk so i hope this tutorial below will help improve the situation =)

(1) Close-up of side buckle

(2) Clasp the hook to the front part of the buckle

(3) To make sure the hook remains secure under the buckle, give it a slight tug/pull

(4) As you can see below, the hook is securely tucked under the buckle to make sure it doesn't come off easily

(5) How it looks when worn =)

Honestly, i didn't experience any problem walking in them the entire night at Medz so i was caught a little off-guard when customers provided this feedback. Nevertheless, may this tutorial help all you guys out there =D

Until next time!
