Pixar Time!!

Haven't had the time to blog these days because of the mad rush to prepare for Fleatitan today...i wouldnt say it was a good flea because the crowd was kinda pathetic and the place itself (Mt Sophia) is pretty inaccessible to others. So i came home with a heavy heart and a very very hungry stomach as i only had breakfast that lasted me till 8pm? i don't know when i will wana attend another flea market because i know apart from me, everyone close to me had to be tied down because of my flea commitments. My parents had to arrange for my transport, jie/sh got to help me on that day (which means forfeiting their time with family n friends), Lee got to arrange to fetch jie home and make sure she has dinner. I appreciate everyone's help but these are really the days i felt like a huge burden to everyone. Maybe im just not strong emotionally to handle this kind of shit on a bad day of flea like today. oh wells. *shrugs* Maybe on my next flea, i will do it on my own and if i cannot handle, suck thumb. At least no one will have to tolerate my endless whining all day long.

Ok, shitty stuff apart, overdue pics from my PIXAR EXHIBITION TOUR with Sally!! =)

It was held at the Singapore Science Centre so Sally and i met up that day to go to a place we haven't visited for nearly..10 years maybe? Haha.

Then it was the usual tour around the Science Centre..it was a crowded afternoon because of school holidays and Sally and I were most probably the oldest ppl around. HAHA.











Attempted to get my fingerprint "lifted" by the student volunteer at one of their science booths...







Conclusion: It's a failure -__-" Honestly, i watched too much CSI to believe it will actually work. HAHA. Sally and i saw the "end product" and we exchanged glances and then gave a forceful smile to the JC boy (well, he tried his best? hahahaha) before leaving the booth. lol.

Then...PIXAR TIMEEEEEEE!








The whole exhibition hall was filled with many many sketches, digital artworks, interesting resin/clay figurines of the Pixar movies that were created! However, no photography was allowed within the premises but how can this entry be interesting WITH NO PICS?!! So...i managed to get some pics from the other bloggers who were invited to attend the opening of the Pixar Exhibition 2 months ago! (They were listed under "Media" so they could take pics)

Overall, i enjoyed the Pixar Exhibition A WHOLE LOT!! It's incredible how these artists could easily sketched out amazing pictures of the different animation characters and the background designs for all Pixar movies are totally breath-taking. It's a pity that it had to be held at the Science Centre though? Coz the exhibits would be much more appreciated by adults than kids, i believe.

Also, our ticket consisted a free 3D movie at their make-do theatre!! So Sally and i caught TOY STORY 2! =) To end off my entry, here's me with my silly 3D glasses! hee.

Happy 22nd, ZX!!

The TP girls met again for Zx's 22nd birthday celebration!

It was just a simple dinner over at Domani, Ngee Ann City since the bday girl suggested western cuisine and we don't wana leave the building as we heard Orchard was FLOODING in the morning. so yea.

This is cheryl, with her purple streak! haha. It's REAL hair, mind you. And while im too coward to do sumtin lidat, i thought it looks damn cool on her!!



She said the color will slowly fade as time pass and might even gradually turn white..so i'll have a ROUGE (X-men?) friend soon. hahahaha. But still, it's a fashion thing that i'll nvr have the guts to try =( oh wells.




My pretty friend with her "life savior" she requested! haha. Lancome Eye Concentrate!! Jie got me one for my bday last yr and i thought it WORKED. so we got one for ZX too~ =)



We were all looking at the soft shell crab pasta in the menu but guess what we ended up with...





Everyone ordered everything else BUT the crab pasta. LOL. How fickle-minded can girls be, seriously? haha.

Did u notice i am taller than everyone in the pics? Coz im in my Yventually's Dusty Pink Wedges!!! hahaha. It's ULTRA comfortable!! i walked around Ion from 5 to 8pm and i didn't get any blisters!! im soo soo soooo amazed by it. haha. =) Im now contemplating on getting the black one for my own usage..hmmm..

Resort World Sentosa!

theBF and i initially planned to visit Universal Studios Singapore last Sat with his friends since he got his corporal Sentosa Islander pass for the weekends but becoz some of the guys couldnt make it and i don't wan to miss any water rides due to my knee injuries, we decided to just go Sentosa to explore Resort World as part of our little weekly date =)

Before we take the Sentosa monorail, we had our favourite CARROT CAKE from the Seah Im Food Centre near Vivo!





If you realise, the carrot cake bits are much bigger in size than the usual carrot cake but A and i love its taste nevertheless! =) I don't know about u, but i always try to order my carrot cake in black sauce coz i like it sweet! Yummylicious~

Then, off we went to RESORT WORLD SENTOSA!!!














We were simply wandering around the place since we do not have a destination in mind. i loveeeee how the whole Resort World looks! After u alight from the monorail, you'll did have this feeling like you have been transported out of Singapore. i thought i was back in Las Vegas for a moment, minus the freaking hot sun tt is. haha.





Because it was sooooo hot and humid that day, A and i started to hide indoors! And the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted by 2 big butts. well, LITERALLY. haha.





LOL. my blog is officially M18 =) haha.

The CASINO!!!! haha. Well, one day when we are not that broke ($100 per pax, is ALOT to me ok. im a student! =P) and more well-dressed, we will definitely pop by the casino and take a peep inside!! =)

Since World Cup fever is all in rage at the moment, RWS was decked in soccer-related decorations!

And then we walked to the Universal Studios entrance for some phototaking!!









Since we couldnt enter USS, we decided to venture into the Hershey's Chocolate shop next to its entrance and AHHHHH, im in HEAVEN the moment i stepped right inside~ Chocolate heaven, to be exact *beams*











The place was stocked with soooo many different kinds of chocolates and merchandises~ As you can see, Doggy was found amidst the pink Hershey kisses' cushions! hahaha.

And then i found my FAVE corner in the shop...



REESE'S!!!!!! If you are a peanut butter lover like me, you will be OVERJOYED~ haha.



In the end, theBF bot me Reese's peanut butter cups from the shop!

All in all, a perfect day spent with the boy! =) Watch out USS, i will conquer you one day! Maybe after my Disneyland trip to Hongkong in July!


Oh and did i mention i will be flying twice in the month of July? =)) So mad excited! One for leisure and one for business. My FIRST official business trip. How thrilling!
